CoQ10 naturally occurs in all body cells, with the highest concentrations found in cells with large energy requirements such as the heart, liver, mucus membranes and immune cells. Due to advancing age, illness or side-effects of some medications levels of CoQ10 can decline, which may lead to poor health.
